TKD March Camp 2014

From 17 to 18 March 2014, TKD conducted the annual school-based March training camp in preparation for the upcoming National Inter-School Taekwondo Championship 2014. Besides preparing for the competition, this camp aimed to foster bonding and team spirit among the students as well as their resilience.

Day 1: We had team bonding games organised and conducted by the CCA student leaders. This gave the student leaders an opportunity to develop on their leadership qualities as well as their management skills. Students also had the chance to know one another better through these games especially for the new Sec 1 members. These games also helped the students to develop stronger bonds within themselves and understand the importance of teamwork. In the afternoon, students had their intensive TKD training to brush up on their skills and mental preparation for the competition. At night, students also had a sharing session to share on what they have learnt and areas for improvements after reflecting on the day events.

Day 2: Physical training was conducted in the morning to train the students on their resilience and their ability to stay focused. In the afternoon, TKD training was conducted. TKD alumni had also came back to assist the student leaders and join in the games conducted.

These are some of the photos taken during the camp:
