From 19 November to 21 November 2013, Bowen TKD club went for an overseas learning journey to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for a 3D2N exchange. This is the second year that the CCA went for an overseas learning journey. The aim of this learning journey was to give the students greater exposure and insights to Taekwondo through experiencing the type of trainings and exchanges at the international level.
In this learning journey, we also aim to foster a deeper and stronger passion among students towards Taekwondo. At the same time, to allow students to appreciate the deeper meaning of Taekwondo's culture and values. The students have trained with the partnering club, Bangsar Taekwondo Club and had friendly matches with the students over there. In addition to the trip, we have also included a values-in-action project. The students went to an orphanage, Sanctuary Care Centre, to interact with the children by teaching them on how to fold paper origami, Taekwondo moves and performing magic shows.
